The Twin Bridges Community Association takes pride in enhancing the beauty, energy, and hometown spirit of Main Street and the surrounding areas. Through hands-on projects and creative touches, we showcase what makes Twin Bridges special—our people, traditions, and way of life.
Here’s what we’re working on:
American Flags – Flags are proudly displayed throughout town for patriotic holidays, honoring our community and country.
Public Benches – Providing a place to gather, rest, and connect. We’re currently updating benches and collecting design concepts and bids.
Holiday Decorations – After Thanksgiving, TBCA decorates Main Street with festive lights and ornaments to greet the upcoming winter months and the Annual Christmas Stroll. Many thanks to the Town of Twin Bridges for their support in getting wreaths installed each season!
Flowers in Bloom – Fresh flowers planted along Main Street each spring add color throughout the season, with businesses helping water and care for their displays. This beautification effort is made possible by the support of Countryside Greenhouse and local volunteers.
Main Street Banner Project– Highlighting the spirit of Twin Bridges with banners that showcase our local businesses, families, fly fishing, ranching, and outdoor recreation that define our community. Banners rotate with graduating senior banners and holiday wreaths.
Scarecrows & Straw Bales – Autumn comes alive with cheerful scarecrows and festive straw bale displays. The bales used as part of this festive tradition are provided by Dan and Sherrie High of Broksle Ranch.
Town Monument Signs – We proudly completed the installation of beautiful stone monument welcome signs at all three town entrances. It takes a community to make projects like these successful. Many thanks to: Jeff Nicholls with Butte Granite Works for engraving the stones at cost; SRI and Hamilton Ranches for donating land on the Dillon and Sheridan sides of town; Holly Haithcox, Dan, and Tuck Lott for contributing on the Whitehall side of town. Jeffrey Mills of Rock Solid Septic and Excavation for donating labor and providing expertise in building the forms, placing the stones, and installing the solar lights. Sam Novich and Rick Zahn, from the Town of Twin Bridges, provided the use of equipment and volunteered their time to place the stones. Paula Kinoshita for handling the permitting process with the state for the Dillon location, as it was a new site, whereas the other two involved updating existing structures.
TBCA Storage – For many years, the Twin Bridges Community Association relied on the generous support of the Twin Bridges Public Library, which provided valuable storage space for our supplies and seasonal décor. As our community events have grown, so have our storage needs. Recently, TBCA has acquired its own storage containers and started moving much of our inventory into these dedicated spaces. This major milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the support of several local partners. Thanks to Buyan Industries for donating half the cost of two storage containers, to Wes Eggers of Eggers Excavations for completing the pad work at cost, and to Andrew Braach for outfitting the containers with custom wreath hangers and installing solar, motion-activated lighting to ensure full functionality. TBCA is deeply grateful for this community support — it helps us improve, organize, and give back to Twin Bridges all year round.
